Competition and camaraderie were on full display at the Kent Catholic Schools Athletic Council annual track and field meet on Wednesday.

Over 500 student athletes between Grades 3 to 8 from St. Clair Catholic and Conseil scolaire catholique Providence took part in the event at Ursuline College Chatham.

The Ursuline College Chatham Lancers continue to set the standard when it comes to high school rugby in the region.

UCC captured its sixth consecutive LKSSAA title on Wednesday, defeating the LCCVI Lancers from Petrolia 38-7 at Ursuline. It marks the fourth straight year the two teams have met in the Lambton-Kent final.
