Catholic Ratepayers can choose to direct their property taxes to support Catholic schools. 

To support our Catholic schools, make sure your school tax support is set to English-Separate.

Why is this important?
Designating your taxes to the Catholic School Board helps protect and preserve our Catholic education system. This simple action sends a strong message of commitment to Catholic Education, a right of Catholics in Ontario for over 150 years. 

Additional Information

• You must be a separate school supporter to vote for Catholic trustees in municipal elections.
• When you move, your tax support defaults to English-Public.
• Tenants can direct the education portion of taxes to English-Separate.
• You must be Catholic to designate your tax support to English-Separate.
