Parent Involvement Committee
In accordance with the Education Act Ontario Regulation 612/00 School Councils and Parent Involvement Committees, the St. Clair Catholic District School Board's Parent Involvement Committee (PIC) is an advisory body. The committee strengthens parent engagement to improve student achievement and well‑being.
The committee links parents with the school board by:
- Advising on effective communication and parent involvement.
- Developing strategies to help parents support learning at home and at school.
- Sharing information with and supporting school councils.
- Providing a direct connection between parents, administration, and Trustees.
Operating at the board level, PICs focus on broader initiatives that impact multiple schools and complement the work of individual school councils.
