The St. Clair Catholic District School Board has released its 2026–2030 Multi-Year Strategic Plan, a forward‑looking roadmap shaped by extensive input from students, families, staff, trustees, parish partners, and the wider community.  Developed through surveys and focus groups earlier this school year, the plan reflects a shared vision for the future of Catholic education.

St. Clair Catholic schools were delighted to welcome approximately 500 little KinderSTARs and their families to this year’s KinderSTART events across the district. The strong turnout reflects the excitement families feel as they prepare for their child’s first step into school.

Ursuline College Chatham’s first ever Gala of Hope welcomed students, staff, families, and community partners for an evening of food, music, and celebration on January 21, 2026. The sold-out event transformed the UCC cafeteria into an elegant dining space and raised approximately $7,000 to support new ovens and essential equipment for the school’s expanding hospitality program.

As we enter the sacred season of Lent, the students at St. Elizabeth Catholic School are reflecting on what this meaningful time calls us to be.

In response to the tragic event that occurred in Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia on February 10, 2026, flags will be lowered to half-mast at all St. Clair Catholic schools and offices, effective immediately.

Last month, students at Holy Rosary Catholic School were recognized for their strong writing and thoughtful reflections through the 2025 Royal Canadian Legion Remembrance Day Poster and Literary Contest.

Gregory A. Hogan Catholic School in Sarnia celebrated World Read Aloud Day on February 4, an annual event held on the first Wednesday of February. The day focuses on the importance of reading aloud and how it helps build literacy skills, confidence, and a lifelong love of reading.
