Enrolment Growth Continues Across St. Clair Catholic
Opening enrolment numbers reported to Trustees at the Regular Board Meeting on October 27, 2026 continue to show year-over-year growth at St. Clair Catholic schools.
The Board welcomed 9,644 students to begin the 2026-2027 school year, marking the fourth consecutive year of increased enrolment.
Since 2022, elementary schools have added 422 students, while secondary schools have welcomed an additional 492 students.
Enrolment trends over the past decade demonstrate long-term stability and growth in St. Clair Catholic schools. Since 2016, total enrolment has increased by 859 students, or nearly 10 per cent.
Projections also indicate enrolment will continue to rise over the next 10 years.
“Steady enrolment growth allows us to strategically plan with confidence and keep investing in our schools” says Amy Park, CFO/COO and Treasurer. “We are grateful for the confidence that families across Chatham-Kent and Sarnia-Lambton continue to place in our schools and we are proud to serve students in every one of our communities.”
The opening enrolment numbers are a snapshot in time, as student enrolment typically fluctuates throughout the school year.
