EQAO Results Highlight Student Success at St. Clair Catholic

The St. Clair Catholic District School Board is pleased to share its 2025-2026 Education Quality and Accountability Office (EQAO) results, highlighting growth and achievement across our schools.

St. Clair Catholic demonstrated year-over-year improvement or maintained its results in nearly every area of assessment while also meeting or exceeding the provincial average in six of eight EQAO categories.

The biggest gain was seen in Grade 3 math, with 75 per cent of students meeting or exceeding the provincial standard. The result was 10 percentage points higher than the provincial average and eight percentage points higher than last year.

“We are incredibly proud of our students and grateful for the dedication of our educators and school leaders who support them every day,” says CEO/CEdO Lisa Demers. “Across St. Clair Catholic, our staff are committed to nurturing the gifts and talents of every student and supporting the education of the whole child academically, physically, mentally, socially and spiritually. These EQAO results are a reflection of that commitment and align with the values outlined in our 2026-2030 Multi-Year Strategic Plan, including Faith in Youth and Excellence for All. While we recognize that EQAO provides only a snapshot in time, we celebrate the hard work taking place in our schools each day and value the insights these results provide as we continue improving student learning and achievement.”
