Lisa Thompson-Power Wins SCCDSB Back to School 50/50 Raffle

The St. Clair Catholic District School Board has announced Lisa Thompson Power of Chatham-Kent as the winner of this year's Back-to-School 50/50 Raffle. Lisa’s ticket, B-16547, was drawn as the lucky winner, earning her a prize of $14,920, half of the impressive $29,840 jackpot.

St. Clair Catholic Education Foundation raffles are held throughout the year and support student programs and school initiatives across the district. This year's Back-to-School Raffle saw strong participation from families, staff, and community members, resulting in incredible fundraising totals at schools across the system.

The top-earning schools for the 2026 Back-to-School Raffle were:

• St. Patrick's Catholic High School - $2,990
• Ursuline College Chatham - $2,870
• St. Angela Merici Catholic School - $2,130
• Monsignor Uyen Catholic School - $1,600
• St. Teresa of Calcutta Catholic School - $1,590
• St. Anne Catholic School, Blenheim - $1,520
• Gregory A. Hogan Catholic School - $1,330

With the Back-to-School draw now complete, the Board is preparing for its next major fundraiser. The Christmas Raffle is set to launch in mid-October, offering another opportunity for families and supporters to participate while helping enhance student experiences across the district.
