Smile Cookies Are Back! Supporting Local Students Across Southern Chatham-Kent (April 27–May 3)
The Tim Hortons Smile Cookie Campaign officially kicks off today and runs through May 3! All proceeds from every Smile Cookie purchased from participating South Kent Tim Hortons restaurants this week goes to support the Ontario Student Nutrition Program (OSNP), which is helping to provide healthy breakfast and snack options for students in Tilbury, Blenheim, Thamesville, and Ridgetown.
A big thank you to the incredible Tim Hortons staff and local owners Cara Gragtmans and Dan Gragtmans, along with Eric Skillings, Treasurer of the Blenheim and Merlin School Breakfast Program, for their continued dedication to this meaningful initiative.
We also extend our gratitude to Jen Morrow, Superintendent of Education at St. Clair Catholic, Amy Ostropolec from OSNP, and Darrin Canniff, Mayor of the Municipality of Chatham-Kent for helping raise awareness—and showing off their cookie-decorating skills!
“Every student deserves the chance to start their day nourished and ready to learn. The Smile Cookie Campaign is a wonderful reminder of what’s possible when a community comes together with care and compassion. Each Smile Cookie purchased helps ensure our students have access to healthy meals that support their success in the classroom.” said Jen Morrow.
If you’re in the South Kent area this week, stop by, grab a Smile Cookie, and support local students—one sweet treat at a time!
