St. Clair Catholic Launches Back-to-School 50/50 Raffle

The St. Clair Catholic Education Foundation is pleased to announce the launch of its second 50/50 draw of 2026, with proceeds supporting students and enhancing learning opportunities through the continued generosity and support of the school community.

Tickets are now on sale for our Back-to-School 50/50 Raffle with the winner to be drawn on Sept. 18. 

The Foundation’s most recent draw, the Spring Blessings 50/50 Raffle, saw a record-breaking jackpot of $52,920 with the winner taking home $26,460. Since launching in March 2022, the 50/50 draw has generated more than $327,000 in total proceeds.

Thanks to this generosity, funds raised have made a meaningful impact in our Catholic schools, supporting projects and enhancements such as outdoor equipment, team uniforms, technology upgrades, field trips, outdoor learning spaces, and other school-based initiatives. These priorities are identified by schools in collaboration with their Catholic School Advisory Councils, made up of parents and school staff.

“We are incredibly grateful to our school community for the tremendous support they have shown through this initiative,” says St. Clair Catholic CEO and CEdO Lisa Demers. “The generosity of our families, staff, volunteers, parish partners and the broader community has been truly inspiring. Every ticket purchased helps us create meaningful experiences for our students and enhance the learning environments where they grow, learn and thrive.”
