St. Clair Catholic Launches First 50/50 Draw of 2026

The St. Clair District Catholic Education Foundation is pleased to announce the launch of its first 50/50 draw of 2026, building on the incredible generosity and support shown throughout last year’s fundraising efforts.

In 2025, the Foundation hosted three 50/50 draws, generating more than $111,000 in total proceeds.  Of that amount, over $55,000 was awarded in prize payouts to three lucky winners, while more than $41,000 went directly toward supporting schools and students across the system.

Thanks to this generosity, funds raised have made a meaningful impact in our Catholic schools, supporting projects and enhancements such as outdoor equipment, team uniforms, technology upgrades, field trips, outdoor learning spaces, and other school-based initiatives determined by schools in collaboration with their Catholic School Advisory Councils, made up of parents and school staff.

Building on this momentum, St. Clair Catholic will once again host three 50/50 draws throughout 2026, with a continued commitment to ensuring proceeds directly benefit students and school communities.

The first draw of the year, the Spring Blessings 50/50 Raffle, will officially open for ticket sales on April 8, with the winning ticket to be drawn on May 29.  The raffle offers community members an exciting opportunity to support our local Catholic schools and students, while also having a chance to win a significant cash prize.

“We are so grateful for the incredible support of our families, staff, volunteers, parish partners, and the broader community,” said Lisa Demers.  “Because of this generosity, we are able to help provide meaningful opportunities and enhancements for our students that truly make a difference in their learning and well-being.  Every ticket purchased is an investment in our students and a reflection of the strong, caring community that surrounds them.”
