St. Patrick’s Business Leadership Class Highlights Impact of Wellness Week
St. Patrick’s Business Leadership class wrapped up their semester last month by presenting and reflecting on activities they led during the school's Wellness Week, held May 11–15. The goal of the initiative was to promote and support mental, physical, social, and emotional health.
During Wellness Week, students at St. Patrick’s had the opportunity to participate in events organized by Mrs. Woodward’s Business Leadership class including multilingual prayers, yoga, rock painting, board games, a protein pancake breakfast, and positive post it notes. The activities encouraged students to take breaks from academic stress, connect with their peers, and learn positive wellness strategies.
The class also hosted a Wellness Fair at St. Patrick’s, inviting local organizations to showcase the programs and services they provide to support community well-being. A total of 564 students across 22 classes at the high school attended the event.
The week included the Wellness Summit at Gregory Hogan for elementary students in the region. The high school class led ice breakers and created activities to engage and educate the younger students about the importance of building healthy habits and strengthening connections.
The class concluded that Wellness Week successfully promoted student well-being, increased awareness and left a positive impact on the school community!
