Dual Credit

Dual Credits give students the chance to experience college learning while still in high school. These programs help students explore pathways, build confidence, and successfully transition to post‑secondary education or apprenticeship training.

Dual Credits are ideal for students who:

• would benefit from learning opportunities outside the traditional high school classroom
• are interested in college or apprenticeship pathways
• need additional flexibility to complete their OSSD

What Students Can Gain

• Earn both a high school credit and a college/apprenticeship credit at the same time
• Experience real college learning, expectations, and culture
• Get a head start on future training and career exploration
• Choose courses that align with your post‑secondary interests, SHSM program, or co‑op placement

When and Where Courses Are Offered

• St. Clair College: Thursday afternoons
• Lambton College: Thursday and Friday (morning and afternoon options)
