St. Matthew Catholic School in Sarnia joined Operation Christmas Child this year to help support children and families in need around the world. Together, the school community collected items such as toys, school supplies and hygiene products to fill donation shoeboxes.
The Board of Trustees for St. Clair Catholic has approved the sale of the former St. Ursula Catholic School to the Municipality of Chatham-Kent for $1,699,999. The sale of the property, at the corner of Tweedsmuir and Lacroix in Chatham, was approved at a Special Meeting of the Board this afternoon.

The school received a generous $2,500 donation, which was made possible through a partnership between the JoLynn Deprez Athletic Fund, the Chatham Kent Community Foundation and Canadian Tire Blenheim.
