The St. Clair Catholic District School Board has approved more than $1.5 million in capital projects, supporting renovations and site improvements that help keep our schools safe, welcoming, and ready for learning.

More than a thousand staff came together in friendship and unity for the 2026 St. Clair Catholic District School Board System Faith Day, held simultaneously on April 24 at St. Patrick’s Catholic High School in Sarnia and Ursuline College in Chatham.  The day offered staff an opportunity to reflect, pray, and celebrate the shared mission of Catholic education.

The St. Clair Catholic District School Board is proud to recognize four outstanding employees with the Living Our Faith Lighting the Way Award. This award is presented every two years at the St. Clair Catholic System Faith Day to honour staff who live out the Board’s Strategic Plan, Pastoral Plan, and the mission of Catholic education.  The award celebrates people who show Gospel values through their service, leadership, and commitment to students, colleagues, parish, and community.

The Tim Hortons Smile Cookie Campaign officially kicks off today and runs through May 3!  All proceeds from every Smile Cookie purchased from participating South Kent Tim Hortons restaurants this week goes to support the Ontario Student Nutrition Program (OSNP), which is helping to provide healthy breakfast and snack options for students in Tilbury, Blenheim, Thamesville, and Ridgetown.

Earlier today, St. Anne Catholic School in Blenheim, along with other nearby schools and businesses, were placed in a lockdown as a precaution due to an incident in the community.

The St. Clair District Catholic Education Foundation is pleased to announce the launch of its first 50/50 draw of 2026, building on the incredible generosity and support shown throughout last year’s fundraising efforts.

On Monday, April 13, flags at all St. Clair Catholic District School Board facilities in Lambton County will be lowered to half-mast as a sign of our shared grief and deep respect for all those affected by the tragic event that occurred at Lambton College.

Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia! Christ is risen.  Happy Easter. We celebrate the extraordinary hope that rises from the empty tomb, a hope that steadies us, strengthens us, and reminds us that God’s love has the final word.

On Good Friday, we are reminded of the profound meaning this day holds.  It is a moment marked by sorrow and sacrifice, yet deeply rooted in hope and renewal.

The St. Clair Catholic District School Board has released its 2026–2030 Multi-Year Strategic Plan, a forward‑looking roadmap shaped by extensive input from students, families, staff, trustees, parish partners, and the wider community.  Developed through surveys and focus groups earlier this school year, the plan reflects a shared vision for the future of Catholic education.
